The Tennessee Midwives' Association (TMA) is an organization of direct-entry midwives, certified nurse midwives, childbirth educators, doulas, and aspiring midwives.

In addition to our quarterly meetings, TMA offers continuing education workshops, peer review, and produces its own newsletter, "The TMA Quarterly". We are privileged to share membership with fellow midwives who have been pioneers in the promotion of midwifery. They have elevated Tennessee's reputation to a level of distinction and have impacted midwifery internationally.
